Department of Chemistry is home to strong academic heritage and outstanding research capability. Our research scholars are prolific and visible in the global scientific literature for knowledge production as well as problem solving. We engage in research collaboration with scholars from other departments in the University and allied institutions in the country. The Department focusses on designing projects that address local, national and global challenges. Our research capabilities result from highly qualified staff and quality staff development within the Faculty of Physical Sciences and the University at large.
